375 — Umar ibn Abī Muādh narrated to me, saying: Abū Ghassān Muhammad ibn Yahyā informed me, saying: Ibrāhīm ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Azīz informed me, saying: “My father’s grant was disbursed, and he instructed me to make a list of his close associates and household. I did so, and he asked me, ‘Think: is there anyone we have overlooked?’ I replied, ‘No.’ He said, ‘Indeed there is: a man met me and greeted me most graciously. His description was such-and-such. Assign him ten dinars.’”
