368 — Mūsā ibn Muhammad ibn Hayyān al-Basrī narrated to me, saying: Mūsā ibn Ismā‘īl narrated to us; Habāba bint ‘Ajlān narrated to us, from her mother, Umm Hafs, from Safiyya bint Jarīr, from Umm Hakīm bint Waddā‘ al-Khuzā‘iyya, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—say: “Exchange gifts, for doing so increases love and dispels hidden rancor.”
