357 — Muhammad ibn Humayd narrated to us: Ibrāhīm ibn al-Mukhtār narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishāq, from Abū Ubayda ibn Muhammad ibn Ammār ibn Yāsir, from al-Rubayyi bint Muawwidh ibn Afrā, who said: “Muawwidh ibn Afrā sent me to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with a tray of fresh dates topped with small, downy cucumbers. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, loved cucumbers. He had some jewelry that had come to him from Bahrain, so he took a handful of it and gave it to me. Peace and blessings be upon him.”
