353 — Abū Zayd also informed me, saying: Muhammad ibn Yahyā al-Kinānī told me: “Saīd ibn al-Ās purchased a house for one hundred thousand from a group of the Ansar known as the household of Abū al-Muallā, of Banū Zurayq. It is the house that now contains the prison. They then regretted the sale and asked him to rescind it, and he agreed. Then they changed their minds again and asked him to take the house back. He accepted the house and sent them another one hundred thousand.”
