34 — Alī ibn Shuayb narrated to me: Ibn Abī Fudayk narrated to us, from one of his teachers, who traced it back to the Prophet, saying: “Noble character traits are kept in store with Allah, Mighty and Majestic. When He loves a servant, He bestows upon him one of them—a good character trait, or a righteous one.”
