302 — Muhammad ibn al-Husayn related to me. Abū Umar al-Darīr related to us. Fadāla al-Shahhām related to us. He said: Whenever al-Hasan’s brethren visited him, he would bring them whatever he had on hand. At times, he would say to one of them, “Take out the basket from beneath the bed.” He would take it out and find fresh dates inside, whereupon al-Hasan would say, “I saved them for you.”
