292 — Sa‘īd ibn Muhammad al-Jarmī narrated to us: Abū ‘Ubayda al-Haddād narrated to us, from ‘Abd Allāh ibn Abī Dāwūd, who said: I heard Bakr ibn ‘Abd Allāh say, “If you are walking with a companion and he falls behind to urinate, but you do not wait for him until he has finished, then you are no companion of his. And if his sandal strap breaks and he stops to repair it, but you do not wait for him, then you are no companion of his.”
