288 — Ibn Jamīl narrated to us: ‘Abd Allāh narrated to us: Mālik ibn Mighwal narrated to us, from Talha. Mālik related that he was walking with Talha down an alley, whereupon Talha said, “Had I known that you were even one day older than I am, I would not have walked ahead of you.”
