286 — Ibn Jamīl narrated to us, saying: Abd Allah narrated to us: Sa‘d ibn Amr narrated to us, from Abū Mansūr, from Ibrāhīm, that he and Ibrāhīm came to an alley. Ibrāhīm said to him, “Go ahead.” He refused to go ahead, so Ibrāhīm proceeded first. He then said, “Had I known that you were even one day older than I, I would not have walked ahead of you.”
