285 — And I was told, on the authority of Damrah ibn Rabīah, on the authority of Amr ibn Abd al-Rahmān, who said: Some revenue from his agents came to Yazīd ibn Abd al-Malik ibn Marwān. He began placing it in purses and sending it to his brothers, saying, “I would be ashamed before Allah, Glorious and Exalted, to ask for Paradise for one of my brothers yet begrudge him a dinar or a dirham.”
