Makarim al-AkhlaqIbn Abi al-Dunya

29 — Al-Fadl ibn al-Sabbāh narrated to us. Umar ibn Yūnus al-Yamāmī narrated to us. He said: Sadaqa ibn Maymūn narrated to us, from Sulaymān ibn Yasār, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “There are three hundred and sixty traits of goodness. When Allah, Glorious and Exalted, desires good for a servant, He places one of them within him and thereby admits him to Paradise.” Abū Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, asked, “O Messenger of Allah, do I possess any of them?” He replied, “Yes—a whole assortment of every kind.”
