26 — Khalaf ibn Hishām narrated to us. He said: Abū al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Abū Ishāq, from Abd Allah ibn Abī al-Husayn, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Shall I not direct you to the noblest character traits of the people of this world and the Hereafter? Pardon those who wrong you, give to those who deprive you, and maintain ties with those who cut you off.”
