232 — Muhammad ibn al-Husayn narrated to me: ʿAlī ibn ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, from Sufyān ibn ʿUyayna, who said: “A man returned from a journey and found his mother standing in prayer. He disliked sitting while she remained standing. Realizing his intention, she prolonged her prayer so that he might be rewarded.”
