22 — Ya‘qūb ibn ‘Ubayd narrated to us. He said: Hishām ibn ‘Ammār narrated to me. He said: Yahyā ibn Hamza narrated to me. Al-Hakam ibn ‘Abd Allāh ibn Sa‘d narrated to us that he heard ‘Iyād ibn ‘Abd Allāh ibn Abī Sarh relate from Abū Hurayra, from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: “No servant will attain pure faith until he maintains ties with those who cut him off, pardons those who wrong him, forgives those who insult him, and treats kindly those who mistreat him.”
