20 — Dāwūd ibn Amr al-Dabbī narrated to us; he said: Ismāīl ibn Ayyāsh narrated to us, from Asīd ibn Abd al-Rahmān al-Khathamī, from Furwa ibn Mujāhid al-Lakhmī, from Uqba ibn Āmir al-Juhanī, who said: I met the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said to me, “O Uqba, maintain ties with those who cut you off, give to those who withhold from you, and pardon those who wrong you.”
