190 — Muhammad ibn Sālih related to me, saying: Abū al-Yaqzān related to me, from Ghassān ibn Abd al-Hamīd, from his father, from Ibrāhīm ibn Arabī—who had witnessed the event—who said: “Musab ibn al-Zubayr’s men deserted him until he was left with only seven men. He then sat upon a cushion of shādhir cloth and repeatedly charged the enemy, single-handedly driving them back. He would then return and sit upon the cushion, doing this several times.”
