17 — ʿAbd al-Rahmān ibn Sālih narrated to us; he said: al-Husayn al-Juʿfī narrated to us, from Shaybān, from Qatāda, concerning: “And We left for him a favorable reputation among later generations” [al-Sāffāt: 129]. He said, “He preserved favorable praise for him.”
