152 — ‘Amr ibn ‘Alī al-Bāhilī narrated to us. Yahyā ibn Muhammad ibn Qays narrated to us. Al-‘Alā’ ibn ‘Abd al-Rahmān narrated to us, from his father, from Abū Hurayra, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “The signs of a hypocrite are three: when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted with something, he betrays the trust.”
