151 — Abū Hafs ‘Amr ibn ‘Alī narrated to us, from Abū Dāwūd. Shu‘ba narrated to us. Mansūr informed me. He said: I heard Abū Wā’il narrate from ‘Abd Allah that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “The signs of a hypocrite are three: when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted with something, he betrays the trust.”
