127 — Surayj ibn Yūnus narrated to us. Abū Sufyān narrated to us, from Ma‘mar, from Qatādah, regarding the words of Allah Most High: “an objectionable statement and a falsehood” [al-Mujādilah: 2]. He said, “Falsehood means lying.”
