124 — Muhammad ibn Abī Umar narrated to me. Sufyān narrated to us, saying: A man narrated to me: “I related a report to Sulaymān ibn Ali, and he said to me, ‘You have lied.’ I replied, ‘I would not be pleased to have lied, even if I possessed enough gold to fill this hall of yours.’” He said, “Thereupon, he relented toward me.”
