77 – The judge Abū al-Qāsim informed us; Abū ʿAlī narrated to us; ʿAbdullāh narrated to us; Ibrāhīm ibn al-Mustamir narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Wahhāb ibn ʿĪsā al-Wāsiṭī narrated to us; Yaḥyā ibn Abī Zakariyyā al-Ghassānī narrated to me; ʿAbbād ibn Saʿīd—a man from Basra who was known for reciting the Quran—narrated to us, on the authority of Qatādah, from Mubashshir ibn Abī al-Malīḥ, from Abū al-Malīḥ, from his father Usāmah ibn ʿUmayr, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever is not grateful to people is not grateful to Allah.”
