5 – The judge Abū al-Qāsim informed us; Abū ʿAlī narrated to us; ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad narrated to us; Muḥammad ibn Ḥassān al-Samtī narrated to us; Abū ʿUthmān ʿAbd Allāh ibn Zayd al-Kalbī narrated to us; al-Awzāʿī related to me, from ʿAbdah ibn Abī Lubābah, from Ibn ʿUmar—who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ⦗24⦘ said:

“Allah has a group of people whom He singles out with blessings for the benefit of His servants; He allows those blessings to remain with them so long as they keep giving them away. But when they withhold them, He removes the blessings from them and passes them on to others.”
