48 – The judge Abū al-Qāsim informed us; Abū ʿAlī narrated to us; ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; al-Ḥārith ibn Muḥammad al-Taymī narrated to me; ʿAmr ibn al-Ṣalt—my maternal uncle—narrated to us; from Saʿīd ibn Abī Saʿīd; from Hishām ibn ʿUrwah; from his father; from ʿĀʾishah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “No servant receives a great blessing from Allah without the people’s demands on him increasing. Whoever will not bear that burden for the people has exposed that blessing to vanish.”
٤٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْقَاضِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّيْمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الصَّلْتِ خَالِي، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «مَا عَظُمَتْ نِعْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى عَبْدٍ إِلَّا اشْتَدَّتْ عَلَيْهِ مُؤْنَةُ النَّاسِ، فَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْتَمِلْ تِلْكَ الْمُؤْنَةَ لِلنَّاسِ؛ فَقَدْ عَرَّضَ تِلْكَ النِّعْمَةَ لِلزَّوَالِ»
