40 – The judge Abū al-Qāsim informed us, saying: Abū ʿAlī narrated to us; ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Qarīb narrated to me, from his uncle, who said:

Khālid al-Qaṣrī said to a man of Quraysh, “What keeps you from asking us?” He replied, “The moment I have to ask, you have already exacted its price.”
