35 – Qadi Abu al-Qasim informed us; Abu ‘Ali narrated to us; ‘Abd Allah narrated to us; al-Husayn ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman narrated to me; al-Walid ibn Salih narrated to me, from Abu Muhammad al-Khurasani, from ‘Abd al-‘Aziz ibn Abi Rawwad, from ‘Ata’, from Ibn ‘Abbas, who said:

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever walks with his brother to fulfill a need and is sincere with him in it, Allah will set between him and the Fire on the Day of Resurrection seven trenches, the distance between one trench and the next being like the distance between heaven and earth.”
