34 – Qadi Abu al-Qasim informed us; Abu ‘Ali narrated to us; ‘Abd Allah narrated to us; Sulayman ibn ‘Umar ibn Khalid narrated to us; Wahb ibn Rashid narrated to us, from Farqad al-Sabkhi, from Anas ibn Malik, who said:
“One day I was serving the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with water for his ablution. He raised his head, looked at me, and said, “O Anas, do you not know that among the deeds that secure forgiveness is bringing happiness to your Muslim brother—by relieving him of a hardship, dispelling a grief, assisting him with a task, paying off a debt for him, or looking after his family in his absence.”
