25 – Qadi Abu al-Qasim informed us; Abu ‘Ali narrated to us; ‘Abd Allah narrated to us; Abu Hammam al-Sakuni, Abu Yasir al-Marwazi, and Abu al-Hasan al-Shaybani narrated to us; they said: Baqiyyah ibn al-Walid narrated to us, from al-Mutawakkil al-Qinnasrini, from Humayd ibn al-‘Ala’, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever fulfills a need for his brother is regarded as one who has served Allah for the whole span of his life.”
٢٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْقَاضِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هَمَّامٍ السَّكُونِيُّ، وَأَبُو يَاسِرٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، وَأَبُو الْحَسَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنِ الْمُتَوَكِّلِ الْقِنَّسْرِينِيِّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «مَنْ قَضَى لِأَخِيهِ حَاجَةً كَانَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ مَنْ خَدَمَ اللَّهَ عُمُرَهُ»
