16 – The judge Abū al-Qāsim informed us; Abū ʿAlī narrated to us; ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; Khalaf ibn Hishām narrated to us; Abū Shihāb narrated to us; from ʿĀṣim al-Ahwal, from Abū ʿUthmān al-Nahdī, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“The people of kindness in this world will be the people of kindness in the Hereafter, and the people of wrongdoing in this world are the very people of wrongdoing in the Hereafter.”
١٦ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْقَاضِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «أَهْلُ الْمَعْرُوفِ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَهْلُ الْمَعْرُوفِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ، وَأَهْلُ الْمُنْكَرِ فِي الدُّنْيَا هُمْ أَهْلُ الْمُنْكَرِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ»
