114 – The judge Abū al-Qāsim informed us; Abū ʿAlī narrated to us; ʿAbd Allāh narrated to me; Muḥammad ibn Masʿūd narrated to us; al-ʿAlāʾ ibn ʿAbd al-Jabbār informed us; Ḥammād ibn Salamah informed us; Muḥammad ibn Wāsiʿ, from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurayrah, reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever conceals his Muslim brother, Allah will conceal him on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever relieves his brother of a worldly distress, Allah will relieve him of a distress of the Hereafter. And Allah is in the servant’s aid so long as the servant is in his brother’s aid.”
١١٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْقَاضِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ وَاسِعٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَنْ سَتَرَ أَخَاهُ الْمُسْلِمَ سَتَرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَمَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ أَخِيهِ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ الدُّنْيَا نَفَّسَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ الْآخِرَةِ، وَاللَّهُ فِي عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِي عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ»
