92 — ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us: My father narrated to me: Ibn al-Mājishūn, Yūsuf ibn Yaʿqūb, narrated to us—ʿAbd Allāh said: My father said, “Al-Mājishūn is Yaʿqūb”—from his father, who reported that Abū Hurayrah said: Allah’s Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:
“While a man was walking in a suit of clothes, admiring his own appearance, Allah caused the earth to swallow him, and he will continue tumbling down within it until the Day of Resurrection. Abū Bakr and ʿUmar bore witness to that.”
Yet neither Abū Bakr nor ʿUmar was present.
