83 — ‘Abdullāh narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Abān al-Balkhī narrated to me: Mu‘āwiyah ibn Hishām narrated to us: Sufyān narrated to us, from Mansūr, from Hilāl, from Hayyān ibn Ghālib, who said: A man came to Sa‘īd ibn Zayd. Then he began to relate, saying: We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on Hirā’, and it shook. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Be still, Hirā’, for upon you there is none but a prophet, a man of utmost truthfulness, or a martyr.”
He said: Upon it were the Prophet ﷺ, Abū Bakr, ‘Umar, ‘Alī, ‘Uthmān, Talhah, al-Zubayr, Sa‘d ibn Mālik, ‘Abd al-Rahmān ibn ‘Awf, and Sa‘īd ibn Zayd.
