9 - ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, saying: Abū Sālih al-Hakam ibn Mūsā narrated to me, saying: Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh narrated to us, saying: Humayd ibn Mālik al-Lakhmī narrated to us, from Makhūl, from Muʿādh ibn Jabal, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me:

“O Muʿādh, obey every ruler, pray behind every imam, and never revile any of my Companions.”
