59 — ‘Abdullāh narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to me, saying: Wakī‘ narrated to us, from Hishām ibn Sa‘d, from ‘Umar ibn Usayd, from Ibn ‘Umar, who said:

“In the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), we used to say: ‘The Messenger of Allah is the best of people, followed by Abū Bakr, then ‘Umar.’”
