426 - Abd Allāh narrated to us, saying: Wahb ibn Baqiyya narrated to me, saying: Khālid informed us, from Atāʾ—meaning Ibn al-Sāʾib—from Abd Khayr, from Alī, who said:

“Shall I tell you who is the best of this community after its Prophet? Abū Bakr. Then the best of them after Abū Bakr is Umar. Allah places goodness wherever He pleases.”
