424 - ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, saying: Abū Sālih al-Hakam ibn Mūsā narrated to me, saying: Shihāb ibn Khirāsh narrated to us, saying: Yūnus ibn Khabbāb narrated to me, from al-Musayyab ibn ʿAbd Khayr, from ʿAbd Khayr, who said: I heard ʿAlī say:

“Indeed, the best of this community after its Prophet is Abū Bakr, then ʿUmar.”
