415 - ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, saying: Suwayd ibn Saʿīd al-Harawī narrated to us, saying: Sharīk ibn ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, from Abū Ishāq, from Abū Hayyah, from ʿAbd Khayr, from ʿAlī, who said:

“Shall I tell you who is the best of this community after its Prophet? Abū Bakr, and the second is ʿUmar. And we have introduced certain matters concerning which Allah does whatever He wills.”

416 - ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, saying: Suwayd ibn Saʿīd narrated to me on another occasion, saying: Sharīk narrated to us, from Abū Hayyah, from ʿAbd Khayr, from ʿAlī, the same report, without mentioning Abū Ishāq in the chain.
