412 - ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, saying: Abū al-Fadl al-Khurāsānī narrated to me, saying: Qabīsah ibn ʿUqbah narrated to us, saying: Fitr ibn Khalīfah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from Abū Juhayfah, from ʿAlī, who said:

“Shall I tell you who is the best of this community after its Prophet? Abū Bakr, then ʿUmar.”

Then he fell silent.
