5 - ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to me, saying: Wakīʿ narrated to us, saying: Al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Abū Sālih, from Abū Saʿīd, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

“Do not revile my Companions. By Him in whose hand is my soul, if one of you were to spend gold equal to Mount Uhud, it would not equal a mudd (a measure of food) given by one of them, nor even half of it.”
