397 - ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us: My father narrated to me: Abū Muʿāwiyah narrated to us: Hārūn ibn Salmān narrated to us, from ʿAmr ibn Hurayth, who said:

I heard ʿAlī say, “The best of this nation after its Prophet are Abū Bakr and ʿUmar. And if I wished, I could name the third.”
