386 – ‘Abdullāh narrated to us: Abū Humayd narrated to me: Mu‘āwiyah—that is, Ibn Hafs—narrated to us: ‘Abbād—that is, Ibn al-‘Awwām—narrated to us, from al-Hajjāj, from Talhah al-Yāmī, who said:

“It used to be said: Hatred of Abū Bakr and ‘Umar is hypocrisy; hatred of Quraysh is hypocrisy; and hatred of the Ansār and hatred of an Arab mawlā is hypocrisy.”
