369 — ‘Abdullāh narrated to us: ‘Amr ibn Muhammad al-Nāqid narrated to me: Sufyān narrated to us, from Ismā‘īl, from Qays, who heard Sa‘īd ibn Zayd ibn ‘Amr ibn Nufayl say:

“By Allah, I remember when ‘Umar would bind me and his sister because we had embraced Islam, before ‘Umar himself embraced Islam. Had Mount Uhud crumbled because of what you did to Ibn ‘Affān, it would have had good reason.”
