331 — ‘Abd Allāh narrated to us: Abū ‘Abd al-Rahmān al-Qurashī, ‘Abd Allāh ibn ‘Umar, narrated to me: Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Sulaymān ibn Qarm, from ‘Abd Allāh ibn al-Hasan, who was asked about wiping over leather socks. He replied:
“What an excellent advocate you have in ‘Umar ibn al-Khattāb regarding wiping over leather socks!”
٣٣١ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ قثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ قَرْمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ، فَقَالَ: نِعْمَ الْحَجِيجُ لَكُمْ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ.
