293 — ‘Abdullāh narrated to us, saying: I was informed on the authority of Abū Yahyā al-Himmānī, from Sufyān and Mis‘ar, from ‘Abd al-Malik ibn ‘Umayr, from Rib‘ī ibn Hirāsh, from Hudhayfah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“So follow the example of the two who come after me: Abū Bakr and ‘Umar.”
