30 - ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Malik narrated to me, saying: al-Humaydī, ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Zubayr, narrated to us, saying: Sufyān narrated to us, saying: al-Zuhrī narrated to us, from ʿUrwa, from ʿĀʾisha, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:

“No one’s wealth has benefited us as much as the wealth of Abū Bakr.”

Sufyān was then told, “But Maʿmar narrates it from Saʿīd.” He replied, “We only heard al-Zuhrī narrate it from ʿUrwa, from ʿĀʾisha.”
