275 - ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to me, saying: ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us, saying: Sufyān informed us, from a teacher of theirs named Sālim, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Mulayl, who said: I heard ʿAlī say: “Every prophet was granted seven noble men from his community, and the Prophet was granted fourteen noble men from his community, among them Abū Bakr and ʿUmar.”
