259 – ‘Abd Allāh narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to me, saying: Ya‘mar—that is, Ibn Bishr—narrated to us, saying: ‘Abd Allāh—meaning Ibn al-Mubārak—narrated to us, saying: Ishāq ibn Yahyā ibn Talhah informed us, saying: ‘Īsā ibn Talhah narrated to me, from ‘Ā’ishah, who said: My father informed me, saying:

“I was among the first to return on the day of Uhud, and I saw a man with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), fighting in his defense.”
