258 – ‘Abd Allāh narrated to us, saying: ‘Abd Allāh ibn ‘Umar ibn Muhammad ibn Abān ibn Sālih ibn Numayr al-Qurashī narrated to me, saying: ‘Abd al-Rahmān ibn Muhammad al-Muhāribī narrated to us, saying: ‘Abd al-Salām ibn Harb narrated to us, from Abū Khālid al-Dālānī, who said: Abū Khālid, the mawlā (client) of the family of Ja‘dah ibn Hubayrah, narrated to me, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“Gabriel (peace be upon him) came to me, took me by the hand, and showed me the gate of Paradise through which my nation will enter.”

Abū Bakr said: “O Messenger of Allah, I wish I had been with you so that I could have looked at it.”

He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) replied:

“Indeed, Abū Bakr, you will be the first of my nation to enter Paradise.”

٢٥٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبَانَ بْنِ صَالِحِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ قثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ قثنا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الدَّالَانِيِّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو خَالِدٍ مَوْلَى آلِ جَعْدَةَ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ ﵇ فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي، فَأَرَانِي بَابَ الْجَنَّةِ الَّذِي تَدْخُلُ مِنْهُ أُمَّتِي» ، فَقَالَ: أَبُو بَكْرٍ: وَدِدْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَنِّي كُنْتُ مَعَكَ حَتَّى أَنْظُرَ إِلَيْهِ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «أَمَا إِنَّكَ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَوَّلُ مَنْ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي» .
