249 – ‘Abd Allāh narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn al-Sabbāh al-Bazzāz and Sulaymān ibn Dāwūd Abū al-Rabī‘ al-Zahrānī al-‘Atakī narrated to me, both saying: Ismā‘īl ibn Zakariyyā narrated to us, saying: Nadr al-Khazzāz narrated to us, from ‘Ikrimah, from Ibn ‘Abbās, who said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was on Hirā’ when the mountain trembled beneath them. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“Be still, Hirā’! Upon you are none but a prophet, or a man of utmost truthfulness, or a martyr.”
He said: Upon it were the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Abū Bakr, ‘Umar, ‘Uthmān, ‘Alī, Talhah, al-Zubayr, Sa‘d, ‘Abd al-Rahmān ibn ‘Awf, and Sa‘īd ibn Zayd.
٢٤٩ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْبَزَّازُ، وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ الْعَتَكِيُّ، قَالَا: نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، نا نَضْرٌ الْخَزَّازُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى حِرَاءٍ فَتَزَعْزَعَ بِهِمُ الْجَبَلُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «اسْكُنْ حِرَاءُ، فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا نَبِيٌّ، أَوْ صِدِّيقٌ، أَوْ شَهِيدٌ» ، قَالَ: وَعَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرُ، وَعُثْمَانُ، وَعَلِيٌّ، وَطَلْحَةُ، وَالزُّبَيْرُ، وَسَعْدٌ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ.
