During the illness from which he died, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) drew back some curtains, or opened a door, and saw the people praying behind Abū Bakr. He was pleased by this and said: “Praise be to Allah! No prophet has died until a man from his own community has led him in prayer.”
